Ja! Magic is handgemaakte Belgische chocolade. De chocolade is bovendien 100% bio, vegan en allergenenvrij. Yes! Magic is handmade Belgian chocolate. The chocolate is also 100% organic, vegan and free of allergens.

Onze chocolade is vrij van allergenen volgens EU-verordening 1169/2011. Magic chocolade bevat dus gegarandeerd géén melk en lactose, noten, pinda’s, soja en sojalecithines, gluten, eieren, vis, selderij, lupine, weekdieren, schaaldieren, mosterd, sesamzaad, zwaveldioxide of sulfieten. Our chocolate is free from allergens according to EU regulation 1169/2011. Magic chocolate is therefore guaranteed to contain no milk and lactose, nuts, peanuts, soy and soy lecithins, gluten, eggs, fish, celery, lupine, molluscs, crustaceans, mustard, sesame seeds, sulfur dioxide or sulphites.

De ambachtelijke chocolade van Magic Chocolates bevat enkel de beste grondstoffen. De cacaobonen in onze chocolade groeien in Peru. De cacao van Peru is vermaard omwille van de hoge kwaliteit, ook al komt slechts 1,8% van de wereldwijde cacaoproductie uit dat land. The artisan chocolate from Magic Chocolates contains only the best raw materials. The cocoa beans in our chocolate grow in Peru. Peru's cocoa is renowned for its high quality, even though only 1.8% of global cocoa production comes from that country.

Wat zijn de voordelen van kokosbloesemsuiker? What are the benefits of coconut blossom sugar?

Als hoogwaardig alternatief voor gewone suiker, gebruiken we in Magic chocolade kokosbloesemsuiker. Kokosbloesemsuiker (GI 35) heeft een lagere glycemische index dan gewone suiker (GI 70), wat beter is voor de bloedsuikerspiegel. Hierdoor kunnen diabetici deze suiker ook consumeren. De koolhydraten worden langzaam afgebroken, waardoor de glucose geleidelijk aan het bloed wordt afgegeven. De kokosbloesemsuiker is ongeraffineerd, hierdoor blijven alle gezonde vitamines, mineralen en vezels behouden. De fairtrade kokosbloesemsuiker die we in Magic Chocolates gebruiken is uitgeroepen tot meest duurzame suiker door de Voedsel- en Landbouworganisatie van de Verenigde Naties (FAO) As a high-quality alternative to regular sugar, we use coconut blossom sugar in Magic chocolate. Coconut blossom sugar (GI 35) has a lower glycemic index than regular sugar (GI 70), which is better for blood sugar levels. This allows diabetics to also consume this sugar. The carbohydrates are slowly broken down, so that the glucose is gradually released into the blood. The coconut blossom sugar is unrefined, so all healthy vitamins, minerals and fibers are preserved. The fair trade coconut blossom sugar that we use in Magic Chocolates has been named the most sustainable sugar by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)

Wat is chufa? What is chufa?

Answer

We gebruiken chufa in onze Tiger Crunch chocolade (66% cacao). Chufa, of ook wel gekend als tijgernoot, is een aardknolletje dat in Spanje groeit. Dit is onze vervanging van een noot. We zijn dus volledig notenvrij, maar hebben toch een chocolade met de smaak en crunch van noten. We use chufa in our Tiger Crunch chocolate (66% cocoa). Chufa, or also known as tiger nut, is a tuber that grows in Spain. This is our replacement for a nut. So we are completely nut-free, but still have a chocolate with the taste and crunch of nuts.
